Manufactured around 2020, these packs were used briefly around 2021-22 before being decommission and purchased by us for resale.

Have all tested well and are easy to dismantle into single cells.

Malpractice warning. Untested cells, business running on assumptions.

Internal resistance of a random test IR = (V_oc - V_load) / Current = (4.2 V - 3.77 V) / 1.5 A = 0.43 V / 1.5 A = 0.287 Ω (287 milliohms)

This is well above the expected 50–80 mΩ range for healthy Molicel INR-18650A cells, confirming significant degradation. Second time now I’ve bought “tested” Molicels that came in well under spec. Cells were sold as 2.5–2.6Ah tested at 1.5A load and barely hit 1500mAh!! I’m a certified Remote Solar Designer (RPC), ACMA Open Cabler, and ex–Head of Design at Ethical Solar Battery Systems Melbourne (ESBS), so I know how to run a proper discharge test. Seller brushed it off and offered no resolution.

If you're trying to build reliable gear, look elsewhere.

Picture shows noted voltages at reception of cells starting from the dot, written with a marker. They were 2.05 to 2.17v.

Can I Pickup?

Pick-up is available from U9/ 26 Ellerslie Rd, Meadowbrook QLD 4131, only after an order has been made and prepared.
Pickup is also available for limited products warehoused in other cities, or held by our supply partners.

How can I trust the battery quality?

All of our individual cells are hand tested unless described otherwise. We sell only batteries and cells with a known history and minimal or zero usage.

We offer a replacement warranty on any faulty products if we are notified within 30 days of purchase.

Is Free Delivery Offered?

Free delivery is offered in the greater Brisbane region on all purchases over $500! Other local drop off options available by emailing econtact@slbatteries.com.au.
